Quilted broadcloth

I recently received several yards of "Quilted Cotton/Poly Broadcloth".
Has anyone ever used this? I have several yards of 3 different colors. They are already quilted with the batting in the middle. They are solid colors. I do not know what to to with them, other than put binding on them and use them for quilts or lap quilts.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I've never used quilting material. You can make totes or throws. Or even a robe. Be creative. Lori

Hi, You hit the jackpot with those. That type of fabric, already quilted, is very expensive in the stores these days. It can be used for anything. Makes great placemats or mug rugs, etc. Why not applique some cute little additions on top of them. NO further quilting needed other than to stitch down the applique. They would also make great tote bags. No need to worry about the lining. Have fun with all that fabric. Let us know what you come up with.

Shirley Mae hit the nail on the head - that is great treasure! placemats, coasters, cassarole covers, cassarole carriers, anything you can think of!!

Adding appliques and decorative trims will be fun too!

Go to it!!
