Apron Pattern

Post by bettycl »

Hi everyone.....
new to community and am looking for a pattern or directions for an apron. El made it on one of her latest tv shows...Egg Money Quilt series. I forget which show it was. The apron was made with three parts, center part was cut on fold with bib area and part that goes around neck, edged with rick rack. Then there were two side pieces also edged in rick rack that attached to the one piece at the waist with ties that were attached to the top of the two side pieces. It also had pockets sewn into the side pieces.
It was the cutest apron and she used a pattern piece to cut the center section. If I remember correctly it is a vintage type pattern from the 30's or 40's.
If anyone can direct me to a source for that pattern I would be so grateful.
Thank you so much.

if it is the pattern with the rocky road to kansas, I believe Butterick also has that pattern out now. at least I think it is in one of the books. I have the real old pattern that belonged to my grandmother.
It is also always nice to have Els books and then you would have the quilt patterns and the apron pattern.
