Patterns for table runner

Hi all
I have decided this is the year I will quilt after saying it for too long. Words now into action. So I thought I would start with something small like table runners. Is there a book by Eleanor or where would you suggest getting patterns simpler the better.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year to all.

I don't know of any particular book of El's (doesn't mean there isn't one) but you can just put 3 or 4 blocks of your choice together on point or even just joined by sashing for a runner. El does have a book on machine quilting.
Here is a websites with quilting info:

Also google You-tube for quilting videos.

A Star for all Seasons is a good table runner book from El...
but, you can pick a 12 inch block you like, and put three or four of them in a row and call it a table runner... maybe the dresden plate or something else...
let us know which one you select...

There is the "Autumn Leaves" Table Runner that can be made in spring or summer colors of leaves, then for fall you can make a Turkey from the same pattern.

Thanks one and all. I started to clean up my room and found I had purchased El's a Star for all Seasons. So I will start with that.
Wish me luck. I will be back if I run into trouble.
Many thanks again.

Oh, heck, Patches. My very first quilt was a king size Rail Fence and I quilted it on my domestic sewing machine with a little bitty throat. I was very determined. So just jump in there and do something big.........NOT. I wish I had started with something small and worked my way up in both size and difficulty. I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew but it sounds better if I say I like to challenge myself - LOL LOL LOL.
