Hello all!
Has anybody ever made a quillow and do you know any links for free quillow patterns that include picture instructions?
I have found a bunch of different sets of instructions on the internet, but none have pictures and are rather confusing (could be I'm just spoiled because QIAD does such a good job at explaining things!)
Thanks,
Christina

Re: Quillows
Here is one for a "doll" size quillow, but would be the same:

Maybe put "Quillow Tutorial" in the search line and see all of the possibilities that come up. I'm sure You-Tube must have something.
I want to make one of these also, but just never seem to get to it. LOL

Re: Quillows
Thanks Oasis!
That is similar to one that I found where you make the pillow part and the quilt part separate and put them together after they are done, except your link includes how to figure out different sizes!
She also explains things a little better and talks about what kind of batt to use.
Thanks a bunch!

Eleanor's Book: Applique in a Day has a pattern for a beautiful quillow. I have made many of them. Instructions are clear and pictures are included.

Sweet! I didn't know there was one in a QIAD book! I actually don't have the Applique in a Day book (hard to believe but true!)

Re: Quillows
Fabricgirl/Lois ... how is the fleece pattern different from the regular fabric pattern ?
I just made a quillow out of fleece ... didn't add batting, nor did I quilt it .... wondering what your pattern says.

Re: Quillows
I haven't made a quillow in a zillion years. Back they we always used the polyfil batting. Would anyone have a suggestion as to what kind of batting I should use to make them. Thanks
