New Pattern I just got

When I was at the Lancaster quilt show I saw the most beautiful quilt done in cream peach and blue I just loved it. I had picked out the fabric that it calls for and the pattern.
Here is my dilema. I was almost thrown out by the vendor and was told No photos of her merchandise, There were NO SIGNS>>
I then bought the pattern and no fabric and left.
I did buy fabric at Sauders which is similiar.
I did write the company to see if they had a photo of the finished quilt and was told by them the picture on the pattern is the finsihed quilt. It is very blurry.
Has anyone ever made a quilt from Fig Tree Quilters?

I haven't made anything from Fig Tree patterns but I just went to their site and love some of their patterns. IMHO they look soft and feminine. Goodness I am sorry you had such a bad experience at their booth. They should have been a bit nicer about no pics since no signs were posted. Maybe it is a normal thing. I am always too busy looking to even think about taking pics. LOL

hi, i also went to thier site, if you click on patterns then show all you will see all of thier patterns, if you click on each pattern it enlarges and you can see a nice pic of them, since i didn't know which pattern you had bought i couldn't see if it was there.

I'm dying to know - which pattern did you buy? They all look scrumptious.

I think it is normal to not take pics as many quilt businesses have their own patterns and are concerned about "industrial espionage" so to speak.

I remember I was at a quilt show in Vero Beach and asked the own er if I could take a picture of a wall hanging only because I wanted to ask dh if I could get the kit. She was a little hesitant but allowed me to take a pic with my phone. I did go back and purchase the kit and then showed her I deleted the pic. I'm sorry you had a problem but at least you know now and it's a good reminder to all of us.

At Paducah I saw signs that said no picture taking and no writing in the booth. I think many have EQ software and can duplicate any pattern , which is what most of the quilt designers use to design the quilts. The people I saw studying quilt booth displays were interrupted by the booth people and they were not friendly about it. El's booth and tents were so friendly in comparison. I bought patterns there and took pictures of many of her finished quilts.
