I was going to embroider the words with embroidery floss. I also on another quilt was going to use a pigma pen but it looks thin and hard to read. I am doing scripture verses. Any suggestions. Thanks, Jan

How about using your computer and these fabric sheets:

You could either piece it into a block or applique it on the quilt.
Practice on plain paper first until it looks the way you want it to look.

Jan, I like to use the pima pens size 08, has a bigger tip. The gals in here also said to put freezer paper behind the block you sign on, makes it easier to write.

I am planning a signature quilt too and I bought a few of the pigma pens to experiement with. The 05 and 08 are medium point pens. I didn't like the smaller ones. Don't remember if it was 08 or 05 but it is a 45 mm tip.
Be sure to heat set the signatures with a hot iron! I have spent a lot of time recently on google finding out about signature quilts. Sheesh, there's tons of info.
