I have about 12 or so jewel tonal fat quarters and want to make a quick quilt with them for a niece. Does anyone have any suggestions for a pattern that is also free? :-D Thanks!

Lots of free patterns available on the 'Net, and a nice selection on the QIAD website as well. One of them might grab you...

I like the tossed 9 patch... it is easy and fun to do and you will have a quilt top in no time...

(Tossed9P)It's basically a 9 patch cut into 4th's, it's that simple. Or you can do a sorta Bento Box, a big log cabin cut into 4th's, super easy. I really really like YBR(Yellow Brick Road), simple but looks good. But you have to buy the pattern($8).

Rail Fence might be nice. Keep us posted.
