I love stippling!!!! These pictures don't do any justice to the colors as they were taken with my cell phone. My digital camera has taken a turn for the worse and won't even turn on...I think I have to pull the plug! LOL

Oh!!! It is beautiful!! I LOVE the decorative stitch! It is a really cool thing to do...I used it on a applique quilt one time because it came loose after I washed it...worked perfect! It really adds something special to that lovely quilt!

I too like the decorative stitch. Did you sew the binding on then use a decorative stitch? That is what it looks like, but not sure. I will have to try that. The quilt is adorable and will be cherished.

This week I have been is a couple of first grade classrooms and during sharing they brought in an item that they loved. Many brought in stuffed animals, but one girl brought in a baby blanket. It was a knitted one, actually two that were so knotted and tangled from the washing machine you could not tell them apart. The little girl stated that her mother bought her a second one shortly after she was born because she really liked it. The little girl (age 7) still sleeps with this knotted blanket. She laughed when she told her classmates. It was so cute!

Then one boy said his father had thrown his away for "no reason" and then he started crying. It was too sad!

Children cherish those baby blankets and quilts so much. You did such a beautiful job I know it will be cherished!

That is so pretty and soft snuggly looking. My favorite color, purple!

REALLY love the decorative stitching. I've been thinking about trying that on my next quilt!

Such a charming little baby quilt. I know they will cherish it. Great job on the stippling. I need to learn to do that some day. Thanks for sharing. Happy quilting. Hugs, Shirley Mae
