Civil War Reproduction Fat Quarter Swap - COMPLETE

Post by Itchn2Bstitchn » Thu Feb 05, 2009 8:37 am

Is anyone interested in swapping Civil War fat quarters? Please post and I'll see if we can get a swap going. If I can get at least 6-8 people interested, we'll make this a swap and then we'll decide on a date and such. I'm looking at the middle to end of March for a due date.

Keep stitchn,
Jan

Wesig - I'm thinking due the middle/end of March and only 6-8 FQ's (that would be 2 yards of material for the FQ's, right?). I'm on a tight budget right now and have to keep my own spending to a minimum. I don't have ANY CW fabric of my own so I'll have to go shopping myself. I'm hoping to make my nephew a CW quilt for Christmas. He's very big into the CW history. I was thinking the UGRR, but not sure if I'm going to do a sampler or a quilt with one block.

Keep stitchn,
Jan

I can probably due that since it doesn't involve sewing.

Jan, I am so excited to do this swap! I collected CW fabrics for awhile, so there's plenty in my stash that I'd like to "trade out" for something different. Can't wait for this!! Thank you for the wonderful idea!!
