Good Morning,
Well, I did good and finished 8 butterfly blocks.... but, now I'm having trouble deciding how to sash them and what fabric to use? Any advice would be appreciated. Decisions, decisions. ROFLOL Pictures attached, I hope. :O)

Thanks a bunch!

they are going to make a really nice quilt. I would choose a small print of florals to break upthe plain white background. Just my thoughts Marge

Those are beautiful!

In my opinion, a dark tone-on-tone green or purple for the sashing. Or, alternate the sashing. Do a 2 1/2" sashing in purple around 4 blocks, then do 2 1/2" sashing in green around four blocks. It would be like picture frames. You could even do a simple nine patch with five of the squares in a dark fabric and it would look like an Irish Chain. Hmm. Whatever you do, it will be georgeous! Please take a picture when you are finished.

Thanks to you both! Let me see what I can "buy" in my stash.... hopefully something will call out to me. A green and/or purple sounds lovely. Maybe with a small floral corner stone? Hmmmm I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again,
Deanne

I think scrappy with one solid color for cornerstones. You could audition different fabrics and the right one will "speak" to you.

What about a different scrappy border for each block, then sashing to bring them all together?

You could do as Caroline did and alternate them with a nice print block.
