This pattern took my breath away!

On page 23 of the newest issue (Sept) of Fons and Porter's quilt magazine is the prettiest Christmas quilt I've seen in forever. I have the pattern and fabric kit coming my way via Keepsakes.com. It's my Christmas present to myself. It will be wrapped and under the tree for me from me. It's called Eureka by Jackie Robinson

What a great Christmas present! I have had this pattern for awhile and just love it, but haven't gotten around to tackling it yet. Isn't it stunning done in Christmas fabrics??!!! WOW! When I was flipping thru the new magazine and saw it, I just kept going back to look at it over and over. Please post pics after Christmas when you make it! Oh, and let me know how it is sewing it, too, please!

I've been watching that one on Keepsake for a couple of months and am envious! What a great idea for your Christmas!! As GP said, be sure and post pictures and any hints you can give on getting it done.

I think I may have my guild won over to making this as our biannual raffle quilt! I can work on part of it and really see how it sews up while sewing on mine. It's mostly log cabin block variations and the expert quilters at the guild think this will be too simple for the raffle quilt. They like the Baltimore Album type quilts all hand done.
