Quilted Curtains
I was thinking of making bedroom curtains...but using quilt patterns. Anyone ever do that? Should I use the same quilt pattern or use the same color, but different patterns?
(We have weird sized windows and cannot buy anything pre-made.)

that is a great idea! My sister made curtains for her daughter and granddaughter using a quilt pattern. One was log cabin. Just go with the colors in your spread/quilt and make it just like a quilt using the measurments of the window. You don't need a pattern, just make one up! Two panels for each window with a rod pocket is an easy way. You can also do pinch pleated if you are brave!
Have fun!

I once made valances. I cut the fabric the length that I wanted the valance to be...added a few inches for the top and hem.... Then I appliqued the valance...I must say they were very pretty...
