Solids and Calicos anyone?

Post by Suzquilts » Fri Aug 08, 2008 6:09 am

Marshall's Dry Goods is having a bundle sale on solids and calicos: $1.95 per yard on the solids (which I couldn't pass up) and $1.75 on the calicos. Of course they pick the colors and prints but wanted to share in case anyone is looking to beef up their stash LOL.

The calicos are second on the list shown on the left side of the website; the solids are 8th from the bottom. I may have to go back for the calicos, still not sure about that one.

Yes, but the email they sent me said you have to but 102 yards!! I order from them quite a bit, I always buy my 108" backing from them but there isn't a set amount I have to buy. I hope they aren't closing, Amie

Yeah, Amie, it is 102 yards but it was worth IMHO since I'm always lookingn for nice solids to blend or even make an entire quilt from.

CoalMinerWife: quality is very good -- the backing fabric has a really nice feel and color.

There is only one Marshall's Dry Goods and it is in Batesville, Arkansas. This is NOT the Marshall's Department Store.
