Qbot questions

Post by Abbigail » Sat Jul 26, 2008 11:44 am

Has anyone here seen, used or own a Qbot system? I saw one a few days ago and it realy looked good. It's a computerized system that appartently will attach to any sewing machine and frame. It will quilt a pattern on its own while you watch or walk off! Very interesting. I don't think they have been out very long so I'm a little leary of them yet. I'd like to know if anyone here has any experience or knowledge about them. This one one set on a midarm with a Gracie frame. ~Abbigail~

I just saw an ad for that today when I got my McCall's Quilting magazine. I have no idea how well it works. MOF I'm not sure what it does. I think you have to have a cruise control.

I priced the entire setup and it ran $7,317.08 like it was. I think they are pretty new systems. Dreaming again! ~Abbigail~

What do you mean the whole set up? I have a B-Line frame with a Juki machine with the Cruise Control already. I'm wondering how much just the QBot is. Do you know? I went online and watched the videos about it and it's just the berries. But they don't say how much it is.

The quote that I got was 20% off and it was still $4,000.00 with free software. I'd think for that price it should be free! It really looked cool.

Gardenquilter - I think it's made by Huskvarna/Viking.
