Embroidered Patches
Hi,
Well, it's a cool 110* right now and I forgot to fry an egg on the sidewalk today.... will have to do that tomorrow and report back. LOL
Anyway, I'm on a mission/treasure hunt. The owner of the uniform shop where my DH gets his uniforms is a serious collector of those embroidered patches found on law enforcement, fire personnel, EMT, ambulance, Forrestry, etc. I thought it would be fun to see how many different ones I could collect for him and I'm willing to trade for a FQ or two. His seamstress who does the alterations is also a quilter and she thinks it would be lots of fun. USED patches are perfectly OK. Everyone in the store this morning, including a few officers, thought it was a real cool idea and would bring smiles to the owner's face.
I do hope I'm not out of line posting here - It's not a chain letter or anything and he WILL get all of the patches that I receive. I'm going to ask my dad if he still has one when he was on the fire department.
Well, enough babbling and thank you in advance.

Re: Embroidered Patches
My DH was police reserve officer and he had some patches. If I can find them I'll send them to you for your project. I'll let you know.
Have Fun,

Re: Embroidered Patches
I have a friend who produces police patches, he leads a company to produce custom embroidered patches on request: http://quality.e-patches.ca'>http://quality.e-patches.ca The company is from canada. Several times I ordered him specifically police badges and they were great. Only now that I care for a specific project, which That company can not take. Do you know where I can find a company that will perform my patch of very large sizes? PS. Sorry for my english.
