I Spy quilt started

Here is a picture of the I Spy quilt I started putting together for my niece. I'll be making another for my son with boy charms in it.

I plan on adding two borders, probably white and pink since that is what I have the most of in my stash.

I used many of the charms I got in the swap and then added a few from other charm swaps and some fabric that I bought just for this quilt (like the Beatrix Potter fabric). I cut the 6.5 inch charms down to 5 inches.

What a charming quilt. Your niece will love it. It is such a happy smiley type quilt. You have a wonderful variety of pics for a child to look at. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the one you do for your son too.

Very cute!
I went on ebay today and ordered a set of 5" hexagon I Spy templates to use with my 6.5" charms. I can't wait till they come so I can play with them!
