A little somthing my DD made

My lovely DD made this as a "thank you" gift for her band director. She copied a piece she has played for him many times. This was her own design.
That is my DD hiding behind the frame. She is being shy.

That's so nice and thoughtful of her. What instrument does she play? It's too bad she was being shy for the camera, but she still looks cute. :) Lori

Carolyn plays clarinet as her primary instrument. She also plays trumpet for jazz band, and can play a little tenor sax, trampone and piano. She wants to go to collage for music education with music performance or math for a minor.

This is what she looks like when she's not being shy. :) I think she's cute, too, but I may be a bit biased!

mcmema, That is my layout for teh Bullseye exchange blocks. I cut them all in 1/4's and put them in a Drunkard's Path Love Ring setting. I have a few small projects to finish up hten I'll start sewing this.

Thank you for the compliment, both on Dd and the quilt! :)

I will vouch for the fact that Carolyn is really cute - and smart. I also saw this work in progress and her handwork is very good. She is a very talented yuong lady.

No, I'm not related and Lee didn't pay me. LOL
