I finally finished this quilt. I Started it 2 days after Christmas and finished it Thursday 1/27/2008
The friend I gave it to turned 65 on New Years Day. He is afraid that his dog will ruin it if he leaves it on his bed so he decided to hang it on the wall. (DARN DOG) I guess it has a habit of chewing.
Now I am taking a short rest an will get going on the next quilt.
The first two pics are of the back of the quilt then the front. There area total of 996 pieces of fabric in this one. Talk to you all soon. LOWELL

Lowell, the quilt is beautiful!!! Hopefully your friend will be able to take it off the wall every now and then and wrap himself up in it..

That's beautiful, Lowell ... the colors go so nicely together and I love the borders. And the pieced back is stunning! Your friend is very lucky. :)

Lowell,
The front and the back of the quilt are both great. I love the textured appearance the fabrics give the quilt. Maybe your friend should "muzzle the mutt" (just kidding) so he can enjoy his gift. LOL

Beautiful and you did such a great job on it.. I like the two sides for you can use it both ways.. Your friend should be real happy. You did a lot of work on it and every thing matches up so nice. good job.
