Tablerunner instructions:
Cut backing fabric 16" long and the width of the fabric.
Cut batting 16" long and the width of the fabric.
Cut the main center fabric panel 8-1/2" long and the width of the fabric.
Cut 2 of the first border: 1-1/2" wide and the width of the fabric.
Cut 2 of the second border: 2-1/2" wide and the width of the fabric.
Cut 3 pieces of binding, 2-1/4" wide, width of the fabric, and sew them together with a bias seam, fold in half and press with wrong side of fabric together. Set aside to finish the edge.

Directions: Lay the backing on a flat surface with the right side of fabric facing down. Lay the batting on top of that. Center the main center panel on top of the batting with the right side up. Smooth the layers so there are no wrinkles and pin well. Take your first border and pin it with the right side to the edge of the center panel. Sew with your walking foot (it works the best)a 1/4" seam. You will be sewing through ALL thicknesses. Do the same procedure with the next border on the other edge of the center panel. Press both of these lightly with just a warm iron to press them out towards the edge of the tablerunner. Next lay the 2nd borders on top of the first borders in the same manner...right sides together, pin and sew, press towards the outer edge. Now find the center at each end of your runner and mark with a pencil dot. Measure 5" down on each edge and mark with a pencil dot. Now connect the side dots with the end to make your point at the end of the runner. Do the same with the other end. Now you can quilt it further if you desire, and put the binding on just like you would a quilt. Treat your points much like you would putting the binding on a square corner...they don't turn to a 45 degree angle, but slightly smaller 30 degree angle. Sew the binding on with a 1/4" seam and turn to the back and hand stitch.
