Today the mailman was very special to me. 2 Packages of Flannel FQ's, my holiday RR I was a part of (the finished piece), FQ's from a FQ club I am in, and some batik FQ's and charms (hand dyed) I won in the mall crawl. It was just like Heaven, I am sure!!

I had to work 8 hours today and was kinda adjusting to the 5 hour a day thing (more time to quilt). Oh well, I made a couple extra bucks I can justify spending on fabric or something like that.

I wish I had your NY weather! I love the fall. Today it was upper 80's and UV index "Very High". It was hot as heck. No rain in sight either!! Doesn't put one in the mood to make a flannel quilt........

Mine are going in the mail today - priority!! (Of course - they are important!) It was only in the mid-50's yesterday, and DH was feeling better, got me going on this! Cindy

Another COLD day!! 50!! I am sooooo looking forward to the weekend to hole up and quilt. Got a nice wood fire going after work today and it sure is cozy. The DD will be going to the home coming football game tonight and I am sure she will be freezing her little behind off. Hey, at that age, it doesn't cause the arthritis to quick in so they think nothin of it.

Oh, my! I don't want to be last, but mine went into the mail today, 2-day priority delivery! LOL - you should have seen all of the stamps the mail lady had to put on the return envelope!!! Cindy

PS - it made it to 70 here. We are due for t-storms over night and showers/storms tomorrow!

No packages yesterday.

I caught up on 4 BOM's I am doing yesterday. I am also doing an applique quilt (El's Garden book) and hope to get a few blocks done today. The weather is perfect for quilting..............chilly and damp.
