We are to send 2 charms but I added a third only because I wanted to deplete my stash.....

You can send 2 charms per bag. If you want to, you can send more. If you send 3 charms, I am treating it as an "extra" for people who get your bags. In other words, you will get 30 baggies back....some will have only 2 charms and some may have 3.
If you want to send 4 charms you may want to sign up as two people. That way I'll swap your charms out for two rounds instead of one.

Question for you all:

If you have a preference for, say, girl charms and there aren't enough "girl" baggies to give you 30 different charm sets, Would you prefer to get duplicates or would you want some boy charms to make up the difference?

Remember, I may have to give boy or girl charms to people who wanted the opposite but I think knowing how many of you are OK with duplicate sets will help make the sorting easier.

Just thought I'd let you know, I have no preference, you can send boys and/or girls.

I'm open for either Boy or Girl and duplicates will be fine, basically, whatever is easiest for you. I'll be happy with anything.

Do we wash before cutting?

Good question CindyB! I always wash before cutting b/c I assume the majority prefers it that way.

I sure hope everyone likes the fabric I chose. My daughter loved it. We really had to look for it.

Bless you for trying to sort the charms so that everyone gets exactly what they want. I think, though, that we really just want this to not be uber-stressful for you. A few 'opposite gender' charms can always be saved for another project. At least, that's my opinion.

Monkeys sound like fun! My son is very into all of the animals right now. I swear he said "cow" the other day. That might have been his first word. I tried to get him to say it again but all he would say was "mmmmm" (for "moo").

You can wash or not, it's up to you.
