LOL! Ok ya'll, here's the skinny on it. "Ya'll" is southern for "you all", fatcat was correct it's one word. And it's pronounced "yaw'll". We love the letter "a" and hang onto it a long time when we speak...sorta like we don't want to let go of it! And "ya'll" is plural, applies to between 2 and a billion of ya'll! LOL! When you're excited, though, like when you're trying to round up a group of kids that are running all over the place, you can say "all ya'll get over here", and that means....every single one of ya'll better hustle on over here NOW!!! In that case, adding the extra "all" is merely putting emphasis on the situation, indicating the whole group is riding your last nerve and you mean it. The dialects in the south vary from region to region, though, just like in most other places. And we can identify which region we're from by how we speak.
When my DH and I were first married he was transferred to New Jersey for a year and that's when I first heard "youse guys". It was several days before I figured out what a "youse" was. I think it's what Leetec said, and actually is "yous", but it was hard for me to understand because up there they don't care much for "a's" and are quick about them. In fact, they were quick about everything, which had me in a spin.

That's very true, GP, we do do things pretty quick up here! It was kind of hard the first time we moved to OH to get used to the slower pace, once we did we liked it, though. The first thing that Buckeyes would say to us when they found out we were from NY was "Where's your NY accent?" Second thing "How many times have you been mugged?"

I have to agree that we seem to speak "fast" in the north, too. When we headed to Tennessee a couple of years ago, I noticed that the pace of things was relaxed and the people seemed to talk much slower. Had a couple of comments to "slow down" when speaking. I can't...that's the way we all speak "up" here. So, sometimes if I ramble, it's just the northern way. (At least I can blame it on that)

Don't want to sound impatient, but, where are we? I know its a long time before it gets to me but I just thought I'd move this up.
Maybe we should have started two at a time, one at the top of the list and one in the middle. Oh, well, maybe next time around.

I was wondering where it is, too. Can't be long now before we all have it!

Traveling stash update"
I mailed the box to mequiter on Wednesday in a USPS priority box. From Minnesota to Wisconsin it shouldn't take to look. Thinking it might arrive there today or tomorrow!
Let us know when you get it!

I think I kept 2 & 1/2 yards... I LOVE flowers so I grabbed the green flower prints and the soft green satin looking one! There was so much pretty stuff in there! Now I don't even remember what I replaced them with it.
