I found a post that says to cut one 7-inch square of muslin and two 4-inch squares of accent fabric for the "hatchet" block.

If this is correct, the hostesses might want to add this to the original post so folks don't have to scroll through messages to find it <gentle hint, no offense intended>

If Lori or Maggie could post suggestions for colors, or send them in a PM, I can send a block or two as well.

6 1/2 square of UNbleached muslin for the center 3 /1/2 inch squares of batik (your choice of color) for the corners cut on the diagnal.
