Re: New Recycled Fabric
So, I'm hibernating in the house today, trying to keep cool. And my brother coomes over a brief visit.. and he's carrying a package!
What a fun surprise on a Sunday afternoon to find a Package--the mailman stuck a package in my front door and I never even found it!
I never use my front door, cuz I always come in from the garage!
But oh what fun... I have the recycled stash from Cindyb AND her Christmas Blocks! (Will post of that subject under Christmas Block Swap) I've already dug out the fabrics that caught my eye and replaced them. Will TRY to stop at Post Office on the way to work tomorrow and get the box off to mequilter--she's next on the list!
Guess I should check my front door more often!

Uh oh, mequilter is #4 and I'm #6 and I'm leaving NY on the 4th for OH. Oh, Duh, I'll send Naniyosie my OH address when she PM's me. Good grief, am I slow or what? I'll just bring along some extra fabric to swap out and I'll be all set. Thank you all for helping me think that one through!

I LOVED doing this - it's sew easy to do!!! Take out the fabric you want (I kept some soft green for several baby quilts I have to make), and replace it!!!
I will definiately do another swap like this!

Leetec.......don't think it's just a NY thing. I hear the "yous" guys thing all the time around this area. Thought maybe it's just a Yooper thing (from the Upper Peninsula of MI), but must run into the cheesehead country, too.

Maybe it's more of a northern thing? Kind of like "you all" is considered a southern thing? Although since I've been "around" GP I catch myself saying it at work. "Did you all water the plants yet today?"

It's more like Ya'll. It's one word. And then there's All Ya'll, which I think means everybody. I'm not real clear on that yet. We'll have to GP to make sure. lol
