I am happy to report that Wefneadau was a very happy day for fabric in my little world! Not only did my FQ's come, but I also got CindyB's holiday round robin and a book from Kenderosa! And my favorite quilt magazine, Quilts With Style, came today!

Bad news? It's almost 90 in my house and the ceiling fan in my sewing room died today. It's supposed to be 98 here tomorrow.

Strange news? Someone at work did something really bad today, I blew her in, and she got fired. And not a single person that found out about it was sad to see her go. The strange thing is she's been doing this since the store opened and everybody in the department, including the newest employees, knew it except me and the supervisors. Just before I found out what was going on, one of teh managers asked me if I was scaring the new employees out of the department. (My department is seasonal so all the employees that were hired for L&G are being switched to other departments) Now my supervisor is calling me The Hatchet.

Ok girls, I think I've truly lost it completely this time! I came home from work and my fat quarters were here and I immediately came here and posted that I loved them and thanked Stitch for hostessing the swap for us, etc....and I'll be danged, WHERE did I post it?????!!!!!! It isn't here where I could swear I posted it! Yes, it's been a long hard day, I've been up since 4:00 a.m., but GEEZ....I KNOW I posted this! I know I did! Did I "frizz out" and put it in the wrong discussion or something???? LOL!

Thanks a bunch girls, I love the fats and thank you very much, Stitch, for hostessing this for us!

No AC in this house so it's really uncomfortable. Thank goodness I can go downstairs where it's cooler.

GP, I knew which FQ was from you the second I saw it! As soon as I saw that Through the Seasons Roses I knew it'd be your name on the label!

We didn't have AC last year and it was the hotest summer ever here in OC. We put in AC this year and it's only been really hot maybe 2 days. My sewing room is the hotest room in the house when it heats up. I have to stop sewing for days. I just couldn't have that. I have too many quilts I have to make. I don't know how you do it with a 2 story house. The up stairs must be really hot. I guess you just have to go hang out at the LQS and buy more fabric. lol

I got mine in the mail yesterday! I just sat down on the porched and ripped into the envelope, since I was too excited. They are just lovely people!
