Lyn, pick another block. Maybe use that green for mistle toe. Or perhaps a Christmas ornament. Hope you can find something that works easily and can join us. Tina and I joked about doing a snowan, since the back ground is WOW and snow is white you'd never see him. Just sew on some buttons for the eyes and a carrot nose. LOL.
Valerie, thankfully there is time

Beverly, love the tree with kitty climbing it. Brings back memories. LOL. That was the last time I got a live tree.

Lyn, what about doing not turn applique? I don't know what it's called but you just have your fusible on it and cut it out, iron it on and sew it down.....
Vinae, love your cardinal.
I have 10 done and will wait to see if more join, I do have 1 more cut out.

Thanks for the compliments Ladies. Eleanor's cardinal from her book that I have doesn't have the black face like most cardinal patterns have. But I think it is simple elegant like many of her patterns. Her pattern has embroidered branch and I really don't enjoy hand embroidery any more so I chose the branch from one of my lodge look pattern books to go with it instead.

Chriss and Tina, Love the Snowman idea.
I'm now sorry I made any post. Just didn't want everyone thinking I'm goofing off in Canada and not sewing.
I take it as a sign that I have enough on my plate.
Chriss, Again, sorry.

Lyn, Not a problem, I'm glad you were joining in on the fun. But, if you do change your mind there's still time.
