Mine are all finished too!!
Just looking to see if I can get some 2.5" strips together to make you some binding for your comfort quilts Tina... The post didn't state if they were to be cut on the bias or not... are you minding which you get? Bias or straight?
Hugs all! J xxx

I'm so happy you all let me join in at the end with this last swap with the Sue's. It seemed silly to not finish & I love the Tibet Sue. I have all of them cut out & ready to sew. Happy Sewing everyone! This is going to be such a cute quilt! I'll only have 3 to make when we're all done. Amazing!

Jacquie, I hope I don't make you laugh but I don't know the difference, I just cut WOF when I do binding. I'm sure whatever I get I'll use
I hope that helps

My DH was in hospital with heart attack symptoms and he has 10% blockage. Not severe and no heart attack registered on ekg so I am just thankful diagnosis was good one and that he finally went to ER like I ask

Izzy, prayers being sent up!
Jacquie, cutting the strips on the WOF I think will work best.

Jacquie--the comfort quilts have straight sides and square corners. Go with straight binding. I think Tina and Mary would agree with me. The only time I use bias binding is if I'm doing curves or trying to show off a stripe on binding.
I'm beginning to sew my Canada Sue's to be background. They are all fused and ready to go. I had to take time out and quilt a baby quilt that Mom made and bind it. Guess what--striped binding that I had to do on the bias and be careful I didn't pull it tight.
Izzy--such a scare! So glad all is well and it was just a glitch to be watched in the future. You sure don't need any more on your plate!

Love and hugs Izzy!! Prayers also going out to you and DH! xxx
Thanks ladies for the info regarding binding... Over here we tend to always use bias binding, simply as it sews down so nicely without folds or puckers. I just thought I'd check... WoF it is then
makes my life easier!!
Thanks all, hugs Jacquie xxx
