Vicky, glad your dental appt. is over. It's normal for the socket to bleed some until the clot forms. Keep biting down on the gauze pack and put ice on the area, 10 min. and then off, it'll help the swelling. Bless your heart, hope you can sleep well tonight, that'll help a whole lot.
Lori, I saw the pics you posted of the bc quilts, you did a great job, they were gorgeous!

Hi everyone--
Hope you are all well... my eyes are tired tonight, so I didn't really read too much.
Just wanted to let you know I updated the Chit Chat area again for progress on Mary Ellen.
I found out tonight they are moving her to another hospital in Milwaukee on Monday, that is well known for their Cyber Knife technology, and hope to do the surgery Tuesday.
So if you contacted me for the hospital address, if it's not too late disregard that-- I sent you her home address, and her husband can get the cards to her.
I will post more tomorrow when I get back from visiting her.
Pam I can't believe you did a Drunkard's Path for your FIRST quilt!! YIkes!

Ann, hi! I was working with some 5" charms today, too, and some I had cut myself, and was wondering the same thing you were. I love that Tossed 9-Patch pattern.

Pam - Look back at January 27th and you will see the Tossed Nine Patch Sandy did. She used sashing in it. It is really pretty!

Vicky you take care! Didn't they give you anything for pain at all?? Try to sleep...it'll be better in the morning.
Peach, Krispy Kremes are better than chocolate! I was so excited eating it that I forgot how to spell them! lol! Were those storms in Georgia near to you????
Q7 don't tell me there's a ruler for the bear's paw!! Oh no, another order for QIAD....I can't win! lol! And Chriss has the ruler, but I don't!
Chriss, that's a great idea for orphan blocks! I just bought some of the stuff that goes into the potholders...can't think of the name right now..probably too much sugar! Maybe I could make one out of my poor little Carpenter's wheel...and give it to my DIL for Christmas! lol!

Quiltnewby, hi! Thanks so much for keeping us updated on Mary Ellen, appreciate it lots! Yes, I didn't know what I was getting into with that Drunkard's Path, I thought it looked like a simple, easy, good quilt to start out on! ROFLOL! I didn't know ANYTHING about quilting and was lost in space! LOL! I've always sewn, so I thought it would be like doing a set-in sleeve....LOL!, I had a rude awakening, I was used to those 5/8" seams.

Joanne - The ruler is one you probably have for the HSTs for other blocks. It is the "Triangle Square Up" Ruler. I wish I would have had it last year.

Vicky - Take it easy, you do not want to get a "dry socket". Do everything the Dentist told you to do.
quiltnewby05 - Thank you for the update on Mary Ellen. She is sure having a rough go of it.

Joanne, I don't know if I spelled it right or not, I just know how to eat them! LOL! Oh my gosh, night before last we met my in-laws for dinner in downtown Atlanta. We'd had heavy rain all day, but the weather said there'd be no more. So, off we go, no sooner got on the freeway in heavy traffic and the skies opened up and it hit with a vengeance. It rained so hard we couldn't see ANYTHING, I was scared. It wasn't until the next day that I saw the news and it showed tornadoes had touched down, but they were all south and east of us. If I'd had a clue that was going on, you can bet I'd have had a hissy fit that wouldn't stop! LOL!
Quilter7, I'm not fearless, I just don't have good sense! ROFLOL! I'll dive into any pattern and half the time it's over my head and the other half it turns out well. That's what my UFO's are, quilts I started early on and found out I was in over my head, so I set them aside until my skills improved.
