I have never done appliqué so I need to learn for this swap. that it good motivation to learn

fatcat, I knew you'd be fussing at me about finishing that quilt! LOL! I'm burning the midnight oil on it, believe me! I was doing real well staying on schedule with it, but my MIL came for an unexpected visit and while she was here the grandmonkey shared her cold with me. That's the ticket...blame the MIL and grandmonkey! LOL!

Sewcarolyn, the weather has been strange for the whole past year. Although, we usually do get strong springtime storms. We're getting a cold front move in this weekend and wouldn't you know, this was the first year I put my garden in extra early! LOL!

I hope your garden makes it through the weather. You should see the peaches on my tree this year. I bet there's hundreds. I'll be having lots of peach pie come July.

My poor D is miserable because of the weather in the midwest everyone keeps telling her that this is an odd year but she doesn't care and is now looking at schools to transfer to in CA
