So I have one block done. Here is my Christmas tree with a kitty.

Just an idea, I might put an ornament in the kitties hand. I'll have to see though what fabric I have that would work.

Kathy, they are also way ahead of me. I'm still deciding if I want to stick with a nativity scene or try something else. Remember that song, "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas"

Way ahead of me too. Will have to put on the back burner for now as my quilter told me yesterday my appt for my mystery quilt is next month, not September so will be putting the pedal to the medal to get that done. At least I know the problem now and how to fix it. Hoping I can get a bit done each day. DH will be gone 2 weeks in August so lots if sewing time available then for these

All your blocks look and sound wonderful.
I designed a block that I thought would be quick and easy to make. I bought some fabric and the owner of the resort gave me a piece of Christmas green, she's gotten into quilting after her DH passed away a few years ago. Anyway, it was going great until I made the appliques. They are small and a bugger to turn. Then realized I would have to make 40 or more of them and they would take a longer time, than I think I have. Fun went right out the window.
I will cheer y'all on from the sidelines.
