Evie offered to share some of her muslin with me, but she also mentioned the idea of using it for tote lining. So sounds like I might want/need some anyway, So, I'm off to find some.

Thank you Evie!!!!

Update**4pm-I got some tan with spreckles in it, 100% cotton, unbleached muslin, $6.99 a yard. Hope it is the right fabric...........I'll make up my blocks tonight.

The quilt I posted is made with unbleached muslin. It gives a quilt a better texture.

UNBLEACHED MUSLIN not bleached. I think unbleached will go better with batiks. Bleached is too white.

Sugestion.

Lori if we have Bleached muslin, can't we just tea dye it for the unbleached look?

Lori and Maggie, I have some 7 inch squares already cut of the unbleached muslin. If anyone wants some just PM me with your address and how many you need and I'll mail them right out.

Hancocks of Paducah has some very nice premium 200 thread count Muslin on their site. I have bought both the 45 & the wide width and just cannot say enough good things about it. Nadine here told me about it last year. It feels soooo yummy!

I've made one block with unbleached muslin. I'll mail it with some batik fabric tomorrow or Friday.

Dear Angels,

Maggie is trying to pin point a date for all the blocks to be at her house. She will need to have all blocks, then square them up, and find the right placement for sewing the top together.

Anyone including postage cost with their blocks for Maggie, to send the quilt top to our host and quilter Lori, include a note specifying S&H from Maggie to Lori, or from Lori to Final destination
