Mcmema, maybe next time I get out there, you can come out to my friends ranch/zoo? I like to be out there in the fall, Oct is my favorite time.
I will hopefully be there for more than a weekend & my friends wife wanted me to show her how to free motion quilt too. (I gave them that bright monster baby quilt I posted in Oct)
So, I will probably have a sewing machine with me. Whatcha think?

LOL, logically Susanna, no I don't "need" fabric but boy, when I see it, I NEED ALL OF IT!! Sincerely, it's just stunning. Has amazing feel too. You'll see & you'll want it all too! I'm good with living vicariously through you for the time being

Re: Friday, Jan. 18th Sew-In !
HI Everybody
Just got home from work a little bit ago and I'm ready to hit the sewing room. Actually it looks like a tornado has already hit it and one of my projects for this evening is to clean it up!!!
I got a HUGE order from QIAD yesterday and have it all washed and ready to press and fold! Oh My Gosh, then I made the mistake of looking at Fabric Frenzy tonite and there's MORE beautiful fabric! BUT I must restrain myself and not buy any more for a while. I'll never get to go to AZ to visit DD in March if I don't quit buying fabric.
We got an offer on our building the other day and I was so excited thinking that AH HA I could stock up on some more pretty fabric and take a little time off work... BUT as fate would have it.. the sale has fallen through all ready. The surrounding businesses to our building had to sign off in agreement for the buyer and one business refused to sign. My local hardware store is right next door to our budiling and he won't sign. Guess I'll have to find a new hardware store. Ex is VERY upset, as I am because the offer we had was really good and it would help us both get out of debt--especially paying the bills to keep the building heated!!! SO, I'm not sure what is going to happen now...not sure if the Hardware store can be talked into changing their mind--or if we'll have to "bribe" him somehow! Needless to say I am VERY disappointed!
Temp here is terribly cold--like -6 here now and going to stay cold all weekend. PERFECT weather for staying inside.. Tho I may go over to DS's and help them paint their kitchen. Unless I can talk my way out of it LOL
Have a great weekend everybody.. Might stop in later and see what y'all are up too!

Yes, Mcmema, that's why my friend opened up his zoo. He's right by the Game Farm. Have you been to the Game Farm?
Carin, it's usually the youngest that's such a prankster, go figure.
