Re: St. Patrick's LUCK-O-THE IRISH, CLOSED
I'm getting out my Irish-themed fabrics! YAY! But before I start cutting I want to be clear on a few things, Tina, so I don't make any mistakes because of not 'listening' (or in this case, 'reading').
Since it's Irish-themed, I assume we're talking shamrock greens, and not olives or limes, etc. Is that correct?
Also, some folks have mentioned scrappy. By scrappy, we are meaning scrappy GREENS, right? Not scrappy as in any color scrappy?
Now to go study my pattern and see if I can remember how to make this Patrick's Star!

Mary, happy green fabric day to you
) You are correct on both counts, we want Green Green not mustard green or yellow green, we want Irish Green, Ireland Green, Shamrock Green
) and scrappy is scrappy greens, they can have little tiny different prints in them but I want everyone to see Green when they look at it
) To really say St Patty's Day
) The fabrics must read Green
) I hope this helps

Oh I changed Marcia's pic on here, the other one was just to show what block she was making (it was a pic off the Internet) the one shown now is her block that she made, LOVE it Marcia! Great job!

So, the color on Marcia's is going to be ok, Tina? I read the list Miss Mary put on, and I am not thinking my greens are that bright!! Would be a shame to have to shop too!!! LOL
