Wow I didn't know this thread was here,,,,:Love everyones blocks,,,I feel inspired to start mine, I will be doing it in fabric from the 1860's collection of Comfort for a cause by Moda. I also have a box of CW scraps I will use, I am not sure about a backround fabric so I am still looking ...this will be a challenge, Carole I will have a hard time catching up to you. Still in the planning stage,,,Thanks for all the advice and hints

Oh I am so glad that you are going to join us. I have 120 blocks done so far. Let's see I think I and on j4. If that is the one I took a break today be ause that one looked really hard with set in seams. Tomorrow is another day and I will do it then. That one may take me all day to get it done right. Sigh. Well I am off to watch my grandson play baseball.

JACQUIE - your triangles are cool! They'd fit into MY quilt quite nicely! hint hint!
CAROLE - You'll be done with the square blocks before long. Hands off Jacquie's triangles!
JUDI - welcome!! I love the fabrics you have chosen. I just started with scraps so figure I'll continue with them. My background is off-white. But I think bright batiks on black would be stunning! But that meant I'd have to buy all new fabric and I was having problems justifying that with the size stash that I have.
I'm ashamed to say that I still haven't returned to my DJ. I got sidetracked by my king-sized log cabin (long promised to my DH) and lots of life stuff. But I will! I think I left off with about 55 blocks finished. I've been skipping around, doing the easiest ones first. Guess that will be a piper I'll have to pay when I get to the hard ones!

Wanted to bring this back to the top. Haven't heard anything from you Janiacs. Where are you and how far have you gotten. I think I I have about 130 plus done, but I am on my way home now. It seems when gals get home they pause in working on these blocks. Hmmmm that may happen to me too until I get everything unpacked lol
So how is everyone doing and where are you.

That's great Carol. I don't know if I would be that committed enough to make all those little blocks. Kudos to you for sticking with it. Lori

Thanks Lori. I now have 138 blocks done and I got her out and started back working on her. It is interesting and not boring each block is different, some easy and some hard. Needless to say it is a challenge, will see if I continue in this vain.
