Oh my, Talking about UFO's!! I have a crochet sweater/jacket that I started in 1976 (I think, or there abouts). I still have it packed away some where. This past year I finished a rug I started about 15 years ago and then I have crochet table topper that I started about 14 years ago. Maybe I will get my buns in gear, pull them out & finish them. That would be novel!!
On a better note, I am almost finished with a quilt I started 2 years ago. I just have to decide on the binding & put it one. Yahoo!!!!

Remember my coffee mug quilt? I made a May block to sort of represent Mother's Day, but then sort of got stuck on ideas for June/Father's Day.
Today, the answer was sent to me! DH is from Nebraska and went to U of N...so the June mug will feature a red cotton printed with the U of N mascot, Herbie Husker! Found it online, and it was even on sale! Hope the red is a good blend with the blocks I have so far, and the coordinating fabrics I bought to go with.
Once the fabric arrives and I get the June mug done, I will have completed mugs for January through August---wooo hooo! I have decided NOT to make any decisions about layout, sashings, or borders until all the mug blocks are done.

Knitnoid - your quilt is beautiful. How big will it be when you are finished?
I finished my BFF's tote bag at 11 PM Friday night and gave it to her for her birthday gift (with a Sidewinder) Saturday morning. Now I'm stitching in the ditch of the the piano key border of my blue & yellow Jewel Box quilt and then I'm going to make it a wave border. Still have to cut out and sew the bias binding for that one which I want to get done this week. Have to take my sewing machine in to the dealer next weekend for it's one year check up. While it's there I will mark and quilt the twins quilts. At least I got the tote finished - WHEW. My BFF's b-day is Feb 14th but I g ave her the gift early because we aren't sure we'll see each other next weekend.

Wow, Cindy, you're doing great. I'm almost out of this group. My last UFO is on the wall ready to be pieced. It's the fall block swap blocks that I couldn't decide what to do with. I finally put them on point and they look great. Now on to the sashing and setting triangles.

I couldn't decide what to do this past weekend so got into the UFO box!! I have a quilt all quilted and it just needs the binding. Now to decide which color I want the binding!!! Also, working on another of my banners from my banner of the month club from last year.
Yahoo, getting things DONE!!
Thanks for the encouragement.

I am busy adding the vine border on DD#3's birthday quilt and I have made most of the flowers that will be added to it. I still have to cut out the leaves and make a couple more flowers but it feels so great to almost be done with a 15 yr old quilt.

Sunsup, aren't the fall blocks fun?
Mine's almost done, I am hand stitching the binding on the back. I put in one layer of Warm & Natural and a thick flannel backing, and tied it with embroidery floss. Can't wait for the weather to cool a bit so I can snuggle underneath it!
