I love your blocks, Joannequilts and gramajojo!!! I love both snowmen and birds--- they were great ideas for the applique!

I really like quilts that combine pieced and appliqued blocks! I'm so glad I'm dong this mystery! :-)

I finished my last applique block yesterday! Ready for the next clue!!

gramajojo love your birds! Really nice blocks. This is so fun! I'm behind as usual, but the applique and pieced together is so neat!

I'm still a little behind. The one applique block is more like 'brodery purse' (sp)?, so I'm not sure it'll stay in the quilt. I was suffering a migraine when I was attempting to find something to applique, so did a "quickie" block. LOL

I'll post once I get the other blocks completed. Beautiful blocks everyone!

WHOA....I'm already 3 blocks behind....better get busy and get unpacked!
Valerie, like your SBS. May borrow your idea
Sandy, your strawberries look good enough to eat!
Michelle, very cute design....bet EQ6 is a blast to play with
Denise, another beautiful butterfly
Joanne, cute snowmen...next pick and stitch I will do a Christmas theme
Jo, your birds are pretty. Since I did a bird house, I may do some birds too.

Such great ideas everyone!
OK back to work unburying the sewing machine !! Still not over the jet-lag...falling asleep at 8 pm. Woke up at 11 tonight so I'm hoping to finally catch up. Good to be home.

Gramajojo, my mother loves birds. I may have to 'borrow' your idea and make one of these for her too.
I have my crossroads done and the applique laid out, ran out of fusible so may be afew days before that one is finished.

I am still not sure about my applique blocks, although the SBS really appeals to me. I'm putting them off a little longer. Here's block 4 & block 6. I'm so far behind so decided to used striped fabric on the crossroads block instead of piecing the stripes. Now, I'll think some more about the appliques! Maybe I can get one done before the next block is posted.
