Missy, you know you have a winner when a husband wants one just like it! LOL!
My DH is color blind to the red spectrum. The irony of my being a quilter and his being color blind never fails to get me. If I need a color consultant, I bounce ideas off my mom or my eldest girl. They both have a great eye for color.

Lori, your best bet might be to call QIADs customer service line; they have an 800 number, so there's no charge for you to call.
If you are just in San Bernardino, you should do a day trip and come on down to San Marcos sometime, and see the QIAD store, if you haven't already....the staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful...and you might run in to a quilting 'celebrity' while you are there.

CaroleJ, I don't have time to check in here much, but when I saw that your coffee mug quilt was done, I had to say CONGRATLATIONS!

Awww, thanks, Sandy! You are so kind to keep track of my poor UFO--! It really did work up cute; I'm pleased with it. Still need to tack the sleeve down on the back, but the major work of it is all done!
How are *your* UFOs coming along? Any progress? Any finishes?

They've all been replaced. I don't seem to have the ability to work on too many projects at once. Working on a Pink Lemonade, but I'm not happy with the colors. Just got to finish it so I can start on a Summer Porch that I've been collecting fabics for.

I really like the Summer Porch; I am working on one in browns now for an older gentleman. It is at the layering stage. I am hoping to attack it later this week. My back was bugging me yesterday and I didn't feel up to bending over a quilt all day, so there it sits.
This one came together more easily than the first one; I was able to lay it out on a table and pick it up row by row to assemble the top. Not one wonky block turned up--unlike the first Summer Porch I made!
Haven't done a Pink Lemonade yet. I love the pattern but don't want to commit to making all those geese! LOL

Due to the current strife at the QIAD forum, I will no longer be leading up the UFO support group.
Resigning in protest!!!!!
