Ok, even though I'm in Florida I want to join too!

I'll have to see the flannel to figure out the difference between brushed and not. JoAnns is having a 50% off sale starting Sunday. DH will be out of town so I can go and buy!!! :)

Is the flannel we need to get the same as what JoAnns calls "quilters flannel"?

Will the bolt say if it is brushed or not?

What size quilt does a turning 20 pattern make? Would it be easy to reduce the size of the pieces by half to make two lap quilts?

Oh, MM, I envy you, I am so far behind on my projects........Almost have my yo-yo's done, then I have to put them together.....I know I'll make it somehow. I just ordered my blue flannel so that should arrive just about the time I finish the yo-yo project, then, then, then.............but, busy fingers (forgot the rest of that adage), but got to keep them moving.............looking forward to getting all the blue FQs.

well, I went back and got all the flannel they had in the original pattern that I had picked. I got all my flannel cut, folded and into baggies and only have 16! What do I do? Should I use a second pattern? THis is my first swap and I'm extremely nervous!

Itchn2Bstitchn - I would wait to see if more people sign up before I went and got more, and I don't see a problem with sending more than one pattern. I have my flannel, just not cut yet :)

We are at 15 so don't buy any more right now. 2 more days for sign ups and then we will know how many we have.
LynnS..........You should be able to get a Turning 10 out of 20 FQ's for 2 boys. Might take a little adjusting but I am sure it can be done.
Also, yes to JoAnn's quilter's flannel.
My flannel is on its way to me also. Maybe I will get it cut and packaged next weekend. Never know what the week ahead holds.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Have a happy Sunday!
