I bought allready a few Of El's dvd's. This time I am ordering a few books also. She does make it easier.
This quilt looks like show quality, I only can dream of that for now.
Hubby is allready encouraging me to take a picture of my garden patch quilt and post it here also.

*smile*

But I'll keep trying.

Beautiful. Can't believe this is your second quilt. Way out of my skill range.

I love that quilt and it is just a lovely picture with YOU in it. Using up stash is the reason we buy stash....lol.

Your quilt is SO BEAUTIFUL, Kenderosa!

The book is Delectable Mountains, one of Eleanor Burns'! It comes with a ruler that lets you cut the pieces accurately. And it really is easy because Eleanor writes such great directions. Go for it, Susanna!

Very nice I love your color choices. I can't believe you used scraps. Wish my scraps looked like that.

kenderosa,
Your quilt is beautiful! Great job.
Delectable Mountains is one of my favorite of El's books. When she first decided to write that book, she showed us an antique quilt in that pattern. I instantly loved it but thought I would never be able to make it! When El demonstrated how easy it is to make, it became one of my favorite books. I love it!

Congratulations on a job well done, pat your little self on the back!

Thanks for all the lovely comments. It really is a very easy quilt to make due to El's ruler which is included with the book. I was so glad to use up fabric from my stash! Gives me reason to purchase more.
