Re: Christmas in July sign up by July 17th
I have 3 cut out so think I'll sew those this morning
Frankie just left to go pick up Easton to go play golf and God watered my pants last night so I think I'll play this morning.

Vinae, I'm having second thoughts about my block. I had bought some heat n bond featherweight at a yard sale and it's not sticking very well. I had never heard of featherweight in heat n bond before. I'll give it a shot.
Tina, God is good, nice that he handled your watering for you.
I need to cut some background fabric to see if my fusible actually sticks before going any further, that will be on my agenda for today.

Ok, I decided to make a cardinal block. I am using Eleanor's pattern for the cardinal and a Pine branch from another book I have. I have most of the cardinals fused I just have to wash some background fabric before I can make fuse them on to the blocks and get sewing them down.

Chriss- I had some bad wonder under brand for applique and I hated it. It was terrible. I ruined several pieces using that. I only buy heat and bond lightweight since then. I always have good luck with that. I wait till I can get a Joann's coupon and buy the heat and bond then, or if it is on a good sale.

Maryz, wow girl, you ae really going to town on those angels.
Vinae, that is what this is, feather light. I haven't peeled it and stuck it to my background yet, but I will give it a shot soon. Just seems like it doesn't stay stuck when i ironed it to my fabric
