Well, that explains it..I utilized the pattern A piece on page 105 and adjusted everything to it because I wasn't thinking (obviously) and was tired. I'm sorry..IMO..these instructions in this book are just WACKY..Soooo, once I went to page 108 and drafted my fabric cutting from the OTHER A foundation template (I do not do foundation piecing) for B-9 and NOT A-4 I was able to get a PERFECT 6.5" block..:)..The Block colors are nicer than the pics..and the star stands out better but I did want it more subtle than the last block..so overall I am OK with it which is a good thing because I AM NOT doing it over..:)..So here it is..:)Thanks for all the support..

Very good Sonya beautiful block. I love what you girls are doing with your blocks. And I know how frustrating this book can be. I have done several blocks 2 times. Keep up the good work.

I finally finished my blocks last night. I am at work right now so I will try to post a pic when I get home tonight. So glad that I can start on week #3 now! Still not sure I can keep up, but I will try.

Everyone's blocks are so beautiful. I am really liking this size block...never made anything smaller than a 12" block before! Love paper-piecing, too. I was afraid I would have to re-teach myself, but it came back pretty easy. I hope all of you develop a love for it...or at least tolerance! LOL
