First of all - RELAX - BREATHE!!! Today is only the 10th. You have until the end of the month to get your blocks to me. PLENTY OF TIME!!!

Sonya - your blocks are BEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUTIFUL!!! LOVELY Fabrics, great points!!!! Can't wait to see it in person!!!
Thanks for the great tips you pointed out. You are right these blocks do come very close to being 12.5" exactly BUT ....

**** everyone Please don't be tempted to square them up as some fabrics love to fray or fibers get caught on a pin or tape in the sending and sorting process.
Just make sure the winners can square them to the right size

Mary - You are so very not alone. I have learned to put a pin on the right side of my WOW's as I cut them to make sure I sew them on the rights sides -

Teresa, I have my blocks done. I will be seeing Lisa next weekend and I think we are going to mail our blocks together again. She had to recut her background but I'm not sure why. I think she may not have used WOW fabric. Anyway, they will definitely be in the mail by the 24th.

Sonya – I can’t wait to see your blocks. I am sure they are FABulous and I can hear the labor of love you put into each and every one. I hope you send all 4. Sorry to drive you nuts in not squaring them up but I am glad you understand the reasoning for it. I love my 12.5” square ruler. I just put it on top of the block to make sure it is good and then I am happy!!!

Well pals - I showed all your lovely blocks to my friend today and she LOVED THEM!!!! The colors, the piecing are FABulous!!!
I am hoping that she might join us soon. She works at the prison with my DH but is more into Scrapbooking. She does have a tumbler block on her wall that is almost finished. Time will tell ....

Hope you are all playing with some delightful Springtime colors. I am eager to see all the blocks but we still have plenty of time

I know what you mean about the star disappearing some. I used a medium print that I see now had more cream in it for the big FG but it does not stand out like it should. It gets a bit lost in the WOW. So now I know to pick TOT's instead of prints or prints with a color in the background or a bolder print that stands out for the FG's.

Thank you ALL for posting the pictures. They have given us great insight as to what to choose and now I have some pretty combo's that are on the table waiting for me
