A large box was delivered this evening. I don't mean a priority large mail box either, but a LARGE box. It is from me to me? I can only guess it is SS. I don't usually mail things to myself. I can't imagine what is inside. DH asked if he should open it, I told him No. I will try to find a place to hide it for now.

Chriss, that happened to a package one of my brother in laws sent, they said the label got torn and the package was in a bin but they couldn't just send it on with half an address and they wouldn't send it back to him. I'm really really really hoping that's not the case! I really hope you get a nice worker to figure this out ❤❤❤

It sounds like what happened is, the PO put a bunch of mail into a container but either never unloaded the container or never hooked it up to a truck or put it on the plane or train to move it from here to there.

It seems that there are many packages in this container. I will call on Monday if the package hasn't moved. In the meantime the postmaster here is trying to help.

Chriss - most likely it is in the same bin that the Lotto blocks are when you refused the package and have it sent back to me. I know one day it will turn up along with the tracking number. Something that I never throw away for months now.

CHRISS - I hope that package is on the move after today. Especially if it's coming to me!! My sis mailed a package a few years ago and their PO generated sticker must have gotten lost somewhere along the way and they kept sending the package to post offices back and forth, forth and back for an entire month! At least the package was moving and not sitting in a bin . . . . Finally one postal worker realized what was happening and decided to use the address that the sender had printed on it. DUH!! Sometimes we rely a little too much on computers - or "confusers" as my hubby with the degree in computer science calls them.

So now all any of us have to do is to sit and impatiently tap our fingers and wait! I'm not sure I can do that. lol!

Maryz, I'm not a good waiter either. Only one other time that I can think of did a package I sent get slowed down and if I remember correctly it went through the same state this one is headed to. Something very strange is going on in that state, I really think it's almost time to call that dog and those meddling kids. Scooby Doo, where are you?

Thankfully there is still time before opening day, but I have never ever been the person to slow down a swap. While this isn't under my control i'm a bit embarrassed. If it doesn't get moving on Monday, I will come up with a plan B.

Chriss this is completely out of your control. I have had this happen too and I am sure others have also. It is disappointing but we will get through it. You are not holding up the swap, the post office is. It irks me after all the effort you put in that they can't do their part and get it right.
