I bet next year, if our memories hold out, everyone gets a bell in their package.

The package I sent is still in limbo. If it isn't delivered by the first I will contact the post office. It's not often but I have had packages go astray before. Since the package is insured for $100 if it doesn't arrive, I will submit a claim and split the money with my elf. Dang post office.

Today is the mailing deadline but I'm pretty sure that all packages are now in the hands of the USPS or will be today....I hope they take good care of all those packages!

Please post when you receive so I can mark you on my list that I've checked way way more than twice!

Our son and his family came yesterday and then our daughter and then all her kiddos so my house was full of love yesterday and did I ever need it! DS is tall and he dusted the whole house even picture frames high on the walls and the ceiling fans that take us using a step stool. Everything is shiny and bright this morning ❤

Now the countdown till packages arrive and opening day!

Chriss Goats wear bells primarily for protection, so farmers can find them easier and have more information about the flock. It lets the farmer know where the goat or sheep is even if it's out of sight, and it can help protect them by alerting the herding dog it's in danger.

Well caregiver I hired specifically for today did not show up so guess I am on my own. Saved me $100.

I think I may be getting a package today. The usps says I am getting a package that I didn't expect, so I will go get it soon as it is delivered.

Valerie, if I get you as an elf next year you will receive a belled goat. Not sure who the public affairs council is but I don't like them. I did leave a message with my local post office. It's a very small post office and the postmaster is pretty good.

Mail tends to slow down right about this time every year and I noticed they don't have 2 day anymore it says 3 or 4 now. But at this time of year translates to 5 to 7 LOL that's ok, plenty of time for all to receive.

You all have a great Thanksgiving Eve, I've got 2 clean doggies so they're all ready to play with grands which I really think they think are their litter mates LOL my dogs get so down in the dumps after the grands leave. Rosie cries real tears, they roll down her face. Duncan will just sleep and mope. My dogs are funny.

Called the postmaster for our post office this morning. She called back and said the package I sent is in a container with many other packages (basically it has friends and this isn't happening to just me) If we don't see movement by Monday she will call and find out what is up.
