CaroleJ - not long, maybe 3 weeks - LOL. But it's been in my head for a year. I have fabric for a couple of other quilts plus our Egg Money BOM which I have all cut out and 4 blocks made. The BOM is really the only UFO I have but it's for me so I'm not worried about when it gets completed. The Jewel Box quilt and Twin Sisters quilt are Christmas gifts and the Tennessee Waltz quilt is a thank you gift for my ex-in-laws who are hosting my BFF and I in Paducah next April. The Jewel Box is finished, the other two need quilting. My BFF has a quilt almost ready to put on the quilting machine that she needs done by mid-September so I'm not loading one at the moment. I'm working on another quilt that will be for me me me while I'm waiting for my turn on the quilting machine. I felt under the gun to get the gift quilts made so at least they are pieced. I usually work on one quilt at a time and just plug away at it until it's done before I start another one. The Egg Money quilt project is in the box making me feel guilty - LOL.

I think as a quilter I get so pleased over the tiniest of things. Like when someone gives me a fat quarter of a cute piece of material.

Well I was tickled this morning when I finished a row on the blue 4 patch quilt I was quilting by hand. I rolled the poles and the last row appeared and you can now see the leader cloth. Yippee

Busylady, to a quilter, that's a big thing. LOL

Cindy, I've heard about the jewlbox quilt, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

Well, I took the splint off my arm last week, it was holding my elbow and doing nothing for my lower arm so the heck with it. I can do alot more now with no more pain that when the splint was on, maybe less.
AND I sewed this afternoon. Just a very simple service quilt, but the blocks are up on my wall. Whoopee! In another week or less I hope to go back to working on DD's cardtrick quilt.

Sunsup, I posted my Jewel Box quilt on here. It was blues, teal, and purple batiks and yellow.

The picture posted above is before I put the piano key border on it.

Cindyg, that is so pretty! Looks like a fairly easy pattern, too.

It is easy. It's another one of El's.

Yeah, it's one of El's that I haven't done...I don't know why but I think my eldest would really like this pattern. She likes her glitz and is very interested in fashion. Surprisingly, though, she still loves the quilt I made her 4 years ago, and wants to keep using it.
