I SPY Swap---Last charms went out 2/27--PHOTOS ADDED

Well my last post should have gone in the Valentine's swap thread. Oh well...I am pretty tired today! I haven't even gotten my I Spy fabric bought but I know my lqs has plenty of really nice kids' patterns. I'll probably pick an overall print too.

If everyone is in agreement we can "allow" licensed prints (like Mickey mouse, Spongebob, Disney Cars, Princesses, Dora, etc). Usually you can't get that fabric in the lqs because it isn't high enough quality for them to carry. But for a kid's quilt it would be nice for them to be able to "spy" some of their favorite characters. What do you all think? We won't do it unless the majority of us want to.

I think that would be okay. I actually saw some "Cars" fabric in the LQS in Trenton, OH, on Saturday. I almost bought some but thought the image was too big for the size charms we're doing.

I need to get some more template plastic and cut a 6.5 inch square. Then I can mark the seam allowances and take it with me to the shop to audition the fabrics. It's hard for me to just picture it.

I just bought my I spy fabrics yesterday. I got some nice ones on sale at the lqs for only $5 a yard. Two are all over patterns and one will need to be fussy cut. I couldn't decide so I got all three. This will be really fun!
