Hi all. Still have my headache today - I was hoping I wouldn't wake up with it but I did. We made a run to Lowe's. Put new rubber thingies on the feet of my ironing board, helped DH put Christmas storage boxes in the attic, I have the self-cleaning oven going and the fumes are so bad that I have both kitchen windows open and a fan blowing. I'm freezing!!! It is so dreary here - so sun at all. Started a pot of veggie/beef soup and have worked some on my Pink Lemonade. Trying to get rid of the headache-grrrrrrrrrrrr

Maryq-- when you watch Mama Mia you can pretend you are in warm weather!!!!

Well I've been sewing for about 6 hours-- today, that's enough. I got through the first light and first darks on my squares.

Hey everyone! Boy where did the day go? I had to do a restore on my computer and I've been re-installing everything back on to the computer....it sure takes a long time to do. But I think I've got it back to where I want it. I haven't been able to do any sewing this weekend

( I'm hoping maybe tomorrow to get a little sewing in.

Maryq....I just love Mama Mia! I think I've watched it about 6 or 7 times already. I wanted to go see it on stage but never got the chance....so I was happy they made it into a movie.

Jameswife....I bought Zuma and believe me it is addicting! Luxor is a fun game too!

*Hi* every 1, I guess now I've talked with CarIn on the phone a few times I better pop-in and share. I was thinking about CarIn and her rug rats today "What to do and where to go while being 'couped' up in one hotel room with 3 kiddo's?". So two things came to mind. One was the Spagethi Factory (They've allready been there)and the other is Lego Land of course. After raising 5 kids myself your mind learns to tune in on TWO major 'must know places' Food and Play time.

I really wish I could just jump in my car and meet up with CarIn, she sounds like such a neat lady to meet. But voila, I got a new pair of classes in which they increased the trength 5 times to what it was (I guess my eye Doc. knew what I meant when I told him "I want to be able to thread a needle again". It took me about 1 week to get my eyes UNtwisted trying to look through them. A few days ago I jumped into my car to make a run to the market, and by the time I got there and back(Just a few blocks away) my eyes felt like knotted up again.

Guess I'll wait for Jeff to come back from the East Coast before I venture out again with them.

Even though I don't post on a daily basis these days, I DO read through the forums and enjoy the feeling of friendships it gives me.

I guess I better give a good *FluFF* to everyones pillows tonight.

Good late afternoon from cold, snowy SW. Pa...Would you guys believe, it's winter! At least here in SW. Pa...We got up to near 0, went to Mass and then breakfast and back home...About 2:00, it started to snow and we've been getting that white stuff ever since....It just seems like we've had winter for at least 4-5 months and it's only the end of January.....The only thing that is getting me through these cold days, I now have less than a week before I leave for, hopefully sun and warmer weather....

I am in the midst of making myself a new Steeler Tote and while at breakfast, the waitress asked if I could make her one..Last year I was making them left and right and thank goodness I still have fabric....
Of course if it keeps snowing, our Meals on Wheels will be canceled tomorrow and I'll be able to sew all day....

Better get back to making dinner and then to my favorite room....

OOH! I haven't tried Luxor yet! I barely get time to play Animal Crossing, and now I have another to play:) I'm thiniking of having DH get Frogger for our son, I think he'd get a kick out of it:)

hooligan reporting for duty prez *T*--what are we up to now????
I had a miserable headache last night-it felt like it was coming out the front side of my head. Add a case of scours, and being very cold. I was in bed before 8 and slept till 9 this morning.Only woke up a couple of times-potty breaks-and cold or dripping sweat. Doing better today-just cold.
Only 11 months to Christmas. Hope folks are getting their Christmas projects done. I am off to do some sewing. i have been working on superman but he will have to take a back seat today. i would like to get a block or two done for QIAD Linda.
I sure hope Carin meets Linda or El or both tomorrow. how sweet DH won't let her leave till she has another chance!!Stay warm-I don't know what it's doing here this week. Sandy, getting colder

Don't look for me to lead the 'Hooligans'! (I was hoping to get 'Peached' this month. Remember?) Don't ya think it's time for the Queen to settle her skinny fanny on Da 'Throne' again?

I read the type of on-line games some of us play. Anyone ever play 'chains'? I like it because you can take ALL the time you need to solve the letter chains for bonusses, and you can walk away from it without the game timing you out.

Bejewelled-2 is still my all time favorite.

Most of the time I play games like this to numb my mind before going to sleep.

Sandy/kho, I guess you're allready doing your share of getting the Hooligans riled up as I read your post in chit chat about the contest. Feb. first is still a very LONG time to wait. Can you throw this 'oll' gall a bone what the contest is going to be about?

Michelle/Littlebit MUST be a step ahead of us all, with a 'Thinking Cap' as she has.

Cyber-Sue I read about your Nerdy Doc. and his UBO's. That was very cute. My Nerdy Doc. looks like Albert Einstein him self, I kid you not.
