Sewcarolyn ... of course you can do it! :)

I've done this simple quilting on several projects made with small/medium sized pieces. It's much easier for me to do than stitch-in-the-ditch. Do a 1/4" seam along both sides of all your seams. Just be careful not to go into an area that has no seam ... like where one of my long straight seams runs into the side of a triangle. And if you don't want any intersecting lines, machine stitch a continuous 1/4" seam "inside" each piece. If your quillt is larger than lap or crib size, you'll have to roll it. But otherwise you can easily do this on any machine. This has saved me a ton of money since I don't have to pay someone to long-arm something ... and I can buy more stash! :)

Very very cute scrappy! I like the quarter inch quilting.....It is just right and very nicely done!
