My favourite quilting stitch is the meandering or free form stitch. My long arm makes it so nice to do and my customers love it on their quilts!

I made a sample block to practice on. It is fun but hard as a beginner. It takes lots of control and practice. I love the stippled quilting on a quilt. I do not own a LA machine; just my regular quilting sewing machine....

I just finished a set of place mats and I did the stippling on them and I'm so pleased with myself...They actually came out really nice...I've always wanted to do this and just couldn't get the hang of it until my DD gave me her machine...Of course maybe if I had read the directions with my machine, I could have probably done it on mine.....But anyhoo, takes practice and determination.....
