Quilter78 - this is El's pattern "Nine Patch and Stripes". I think it's in her Still Stripping book. I've had the book opened to this pattern for so long I can't remember for sure which of her books it is.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments. This is an easy quilt and you can make two quilts at a time. One has positive stripes and negative 9 patches and it's vice versa on the second quilt with negative stripes and positive 9 patches. Baby Hunter's quilt will have the positive 9-Patches and negative stripes.

I just dearly love the quilt but I REALLY love the names Hannah & Hunter! Great choice for twins. How is your DD feeling? Sherry is it? Hope she is feeling great. Not much longer!

Cathy - thanks for asking. Sherrie is feeling fine. She goes back to the doctor on Feb. 6. She may have gestational diabetes and they will check closely for that but she feels just fine. She gets a little tired these days and her DH is doing all the laundry and cooking and some of the cleaning so that all she has to do when she gets home from work is nothing. The boys are being really good lately by keeping their toys picked up and taking unsupervised baths, etc. So we are just waiting to see what the doctor says next week about the gest. diabetes. Last time the babies were weighed Hunter weighed 1.8 lbs. and Hannah weighed 1.4 lbs. The doctor said they are viable now which means that if she had them now they would probably live because all organs are functioning as they should. It's amazing what they can do and see these days. Heck, when I had my kids we had to wait until they were born to know their gender. LOL By, do I feel old!!!!!
